IfTI Global Symposium | 4-5 September 2024

The future of global trade will be driven by innovation, digitalisation, a just transition, and inclusiveness. However, the world is facing unprecedented challenges due to geopolitical tensions, multipolarity and fragmentation, climate change, as well as inflation. Policymakers and financiers need to address pressing issues to find the opportunities behind polycrises, making innovation, trade, investment and environmental policy goals mutually supportive.

The IfTI Global Symposium 2024 goes to the University of St.Gallen! It will inform policymakers, financiers, exporters and researchers, enhance knowledge and expertise, and build bridges to strengthen cooperation between key stakeholders. We will share theoretical approaches to better understand and address current challenges, discuss global best practices and present case studies from governments, export credit agencies, development banks, academics, and the private sector. Relevant both to practitioners and academics, we will explore practical and pragmatic ways to move forward.
