Last week, members of the Women in Foreign Trade (WIFT) network discussed the issue of financing and securing export transactions with Master’s students from the B+W faculty.

Among those who came to Gengenbach were Euler Hermes Executive Board member Edna Schöne, GIZ Division Manager Marita Brömmelmeier and Gabriele Freifrau von dem Bussche from Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.

The highlight of the block seminar in the elective subject “Doing Business in Emerging Markets” by Prof. Andreas Klasen was a case study simulating a meeting of the German gonvernment’s Interministerial Committee for Export Credit Guarantees. Participants from the master’s degree programs Business Administration, Dialogue Marketing and E-Commerce as well as International Business Consulting impressed the guest lecturers with their professional expertise and commitment.
