The course focussed on the central aspects of international trade law and international trade policy. Students critically analysed the topic and its significance. The focus was on advanced topics in the history of the world trade system and the political and economic principles underlying its development. In addition, concepts, theories and empirical evidence were examined holistically in relation to the framework of international economic relations, with a focus on the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD - OCDE). The contributions from the students were outstanding!
