Ministerial meeting in Paris - Andreas Klasen presenting

On 9 March, Prof. Dr. Andreas Klasen spoke at the Paris Conference on Energy Autonomy and the Ecological Transition.

The event was hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery as part of the French EU Presidency. Klasen moderated the panel "Which tools should be mobilised to finance the massive investment needs for ecological transition?". Along with Mairead McGuinness (European Commissioner for Financial Services), Pascal Canfin (MEP), Yves Perrier (Amundi), Laurant Mignon (BPCE), Michal Ron (SACE and Berne Union), Frederic Oudea (Société Générale) Klasen spoke about the direction of global economic governance. "The Paris Agreement goals are a key piece of the puzzle in scaling up climate finance", Klasen said. During the panel discussion, he spoke about climate change goals and how to turn them into action. It was a great pleasure for him to be able to actively participate in the panel.
